The Mariemont Instructional Soccer Program

COVID Protocols 

  • Spectators: Masks are required for all spectators- no exceptions. Spectators will be required to 6ft social distance between individuals/family members of other households.
  • Coaches: Masks are required for all coaches
  • Players:
    • Masks are required for all players not on the field
    • Players do not need to wear facial coverings while practicing. However, they may wear face coverings based on parent preference.

The Instructional Soccer program is designed to be the Youth Player's first experience with soccer. 

  • The program is open to four and five year old Boys and Girls who live in the Mariemont School District (For the Spring 2021 season, this includes players born on or after January 1, 2015 and born on or before June 1, 2017).
  • Each 45 minute session consists of a group warm-up activity for about 30 minutes followed by a small sided game (usually 3v3 or 4v4) against players of similar ages within the Mariemont Instructional program.  There are no "official games" scheduled against surrounding communities and no scores or standings are kept.
  • The program costs $35 each season.
  • 2021 may look different due to Responsible RestartOhio guidelines.  Safety guidelines will be communicated to registered families prior to the season beginning.
  • Registration closes March 26, 2021 for Instructional Soccer.

Details & Logistics:

  • In the Spring, the program is sponsored by Cincinnati Hills SAY Soccer and is held on Saturday monrings at the Mariemont Elementary School field. The seasons typically begins early April and runs through May (dates communicated closer to the beginning of each season).‚Äč For 2021, the first session will start on April 10.
  • In the Fall, the program is sponsored by the Mariemont Recreational Soccer Program and is held on Friday nights at the Mariemont Bell Tower fields. The season begins after school is in session and runs through October (dates communicated closer to the beginning of each season).
