2008 Playmakers Soccer Camp
The 2008 Playmakers Soccer camp will be held at the Fairfax Lower field the weeks of June 9-13 and June 16-20.

The “Playmakers Soccer Camp” believes in sharing the fun and excitement of the game to all ages. Safe participation, skill
development, and teamwork are emphasized through small group games and exercises. Our goal is to expose both boys and girls
to new ideas in the game of soccer as well as to improve technical and tactical play through daily repetition. Campers will be
grouped according to age, ability, and physical maturation.

Spring Soccer
Thanks to everyone for a strong signup for Spring Soccer this season! We have over 300 players from Terrace Park and Mariemont playing soccer with us.

Practices have now begun and the CHSS Soccer season will begin Saturday, April 5th for all teams in CHSS EXCEPT Mariemont which because of the late Spring break will start Saturday, April 29th.

We are putting the final touches on schedules and hope to post them in the next day or two.

Spring is almost here and its time to play soccer! Have a great season!

New Board Members
Welcome to our newest Soccer Board Members John Getgey and Stuart Shelley. I appreciate your willingness to help!

Also, I would like to thank Matt Lynch for assuming the Registrar duties for the Spring season.

And finally, as of the April Soccer Board meeting Bob Rich will be stepping down from the Soccer Board. Bob has been involved in MRA Soccer as a coach, referee, and an administrator for almost twenty years. He was instrumental in the formation of the Cincinnati Hills SAY Soccer area and in the development, planning, and implementation of small sided soccer within Cincinnati Hills. Bob was also prior to this year Referee Director for Cincinnai Hills and has served as part of the CHS Fall Tournament Committee for the past several years.

On behalf of the MRA Soccer Board we would like to say a public Thank You - we sincerely appreciate everything you have done for the soccer program in Mariemont.
