The MRA Soccer program is run by a Board of Directors that meets the first Monday of each month at 8:00pm at the Parish Center in Mariemont. The fee for early registration for recreational soccer will be $65 and for Instructional Soccer will be $55. Because the Parish Center is now closed for renovation there will be no in person signups this season - only online and registrations by mail.

MHS vs. Columbus Academy
Soccer Lovers and MHS Soccer Fans,
Mariemont Warriors Men's Soccer Team is selling Discounted Columbus Crew Ticket Vouchers for ANY 2008 Columbus Crew home game (Except LA Galaxy on October 4th) Each voucher is only $20. That's $6 off face value!
You can use your vouchers for any Crew game but we encourage you to use your vouchers on September 6th and see Mariemont play The Columbus Academy in a special showcase game in the Crew's soccer stadium, America's first soccer specific stadium. JV plays @ 1:30pm, Varsity @ 3:30. The Crew game starts @ 7:30. It's a full day of great soccer. The JV will play at Columbus Academy
Either way you'll be helping the team. It's great soccer, in a great facility. Get a group together and save BIG. Take your family, SAY team, select team or men's team.
Respond to this email with your ticket requests and a member of the varsity team will pick up your check/money and deliver your vouchers.
Here's some Voucher FAQ's— Individual voucher holders can bring them to the ticket window on the day of the game they want to attend and get as many as they need in the same section. Vouchers are good for any home game except LA on October 4th. Groups, mens team, rec teams, who want to have their own team night can mail the vouchers to The Crew ticket office. They will seat your group in the same section. Male early for the best as far as seat location. And they can pick any game other than LA.
Please email me with your ticket order ASAP. We need to sell 200 tickets to cover our expense, but we were issued 250. The remaining proceed will be awarded in form of gift certificates to Soccer Village for the #1 and #2 player that sells the most vouchers. We will also use the balance to host a tailgate/cookout between the MHS game and the Crew match.
We have set a deadline of July 26th, the same day we play the MHS alumni for the MHS special ticket order (The Crew needs time to print them). We will also be seated in the same section if we can get the order in by July 30th
Please email or call me ASAP with your order. If you want tickets for Sept 6th, please indicate that game and you will receive a special ticket with MHS vs. Columbus Academy printed on the official Crew ticket.

Challenger Sports will hold their annual Soccer Camp from July 21-25, 2008 at the Bell Tower. The camp is open to players ages 3-13+.

Ages 6-9 Half Day 9:00-12:00pm

2008 Heather Mitts Soccer Camp
March 14, 2007, Cincinnati, Ohio. Olympic soccer gold medalist and Cincinnati native, Heather Mitts is hosting the 2008 Heather Mitts Summer Soccer Camp on June 25th and June 26th at The Summit Country Day School in Cincinnati for all area players aged 8 to 13. There are only 100 spots available. Registration will be open to all Greater Cincinnati Area soccer players until June 13th 2008. In addition to Heather Mitts, several US National Team players, NCAA Division I players and coaches will serve as hands-on instructors including (US Players are subject to change):

Daily sessions (1pm to 5:30pm) will focus on the following:
- National Team drills and training demonstrations
- Technical sessions
- Small Group Tactical Development
- Team World Cup Tournament (awards and prizes)

Heather began her soccer career with Cincinnati St. Ursula Academy and led them to the 1993 Ohio High School State Championship. Heather was also 1st team All-State as a Junior and Senior while attending St. Ursula. From there Heather then led the University of Florida to the 1999 NCAA National Championship and was named 1st team All-Sec and 1st team All-American. Following her college career, Heather was named to the US National Team and while a member she also played professionally with the WUSA Philadelphia Charge. Heather was a WUSA All-Star in 2003. In 2004 Heather was key defensive player for the 2004 United States Olympic Gold Medal team in Athens, Greece. She is currently in training with the US National Team in preparation for the upcoming 2008 Summer Olympics.
